Agree with all but one thing you said. You are NOT failing your children by keeping them safe at home and homeschooling them. It’s okay that safety is a WHY you homeschool reason. It’s NOT okay to broadcast that after a tragedy. Poor taste for sure.

I love how you see both sides to everything. and I dont mean this in a bad way but not everyone can homeschool properly. it takes so much effort and so much work. I think id be doing a disservice to my children if I went the homeschooling route. but I think those who can do it are just as amazing as any other mom.

parents should never have to homeschool out of fear. I homeschool mine, but I want ALL kids safe. I don't only care about mine and it doesn't make anyone else feel better or help anyone to make those comments
