I’m deployed right now and I can tell you that my wife is feeling it too. I don’t know if you send him packages, if not you should ! It definitely brings up morale for him and you ! My wife sends me packages that she makes herself.

I did it for 9 months. It’s not easy! Just remember to be kind and remember that they are going through it too. Even when you want to be angry, sad, and all those negative emotions(which are all valid), choose love. It’s not easy, I struggled so bad but here we are, happy to be back together never taking a moment for granted. I promise, it’ll be worth it in the end. Find the support in your family and friends, find new hobbies, read books, pray, whatever helps. Don’t lose sight of the love you have. Show him grace and above all show yourself that grace also. 🩷

He is in Kuwait. We broke up about two months in but we still talk everyday. We grow everyday. I still make it known he’s not alone out there in this big scary world because I never know which day will be my last to remind him. I’m hoping by the time he gets back, our wounds have made us stronger.

I feel you girl, but it does get better. My husband and I finally tied the knot four years ago, as newlyweds we made our way to his first duty station. He’d gone to basic during covid, so he wasn’t allowed to come home after he graduated. We were separated a year before I even got to see him again. Immediately after we moved, he got deployed. I had to start over in a new apartment in a new state away from any familiarity. But he came back to me, and that’s something I’ll always thank God for. It does get better, honey💕
