I hope you give it a try and love it as much as my family and I did! Ingredients: 4 strips beef bacon 1 lb ground turkey 2 tbsp olive oil (if needed) 1 small onion, diced 5 cloves garlic, minced 2 medium carrots, diced (optional) 4 cups broccoli florets (or more if you like extra) 5 cups chicken broth 1 bay leaf ½ tsp dried thyme 2 tbsp butter 2 tbsp flour 1 cup heavy cream 3 cups extra-sharp cheddar cheese (or more) Salt, black pepper, red pepper flakes (to taste) Instructions: 1. Cook bacon until crispy; set aside. Leave ~1 tbsp fat in pot. 2. Brown turkey with salt, pepper, thyme & red pepper flakes; remove and set aside. 3. Sauté onion + carrots 5 min, then add garlic 1 min. 4. Make roux: melt butter, stir in flour 1–2 min. 5. Add broth, broccoli, bay leaf; simmer 10–12 min until tender. Remove bay leaf. 6.
