*Thank you for the love and support but I’m not worried about getting the recipe done correctly. I use to think that way but not anymore. Whether I burned it or it came out exceptionally what matters is that I had fun. I know perfecting recipes in this earth kitchen will come with practice and patience. This whole cooking series is about people watching me play and to remind adults that it’s ok to play like you’re a kid with no expectations🤎🙏🏾✨🐥

There were too many coals placed on the the lid of the Dutch oven. Only takes a small amount. You can use a pair channel locks to remove the lid while cooking to check on it 😉 It just takes practice to cook on a fire. We used to do it a lot. We used 2 Dutch ovens. One for sweet and one for savory.
