I’ve gone for as long as I can remember since it’s in the week of my birthday. Yes the prices are crazy but it’s a fair what do u expect??😭 ovb if u don’t like rides don’t go but i absolutely love them and heights so I always want to go😂 and yes it’s hectic and packed when u go with kids (im the oldest of 5) but it’s so funnn it’s once a year like just enjoy it

I think we all know all fair prices are high as heck. Parking always sucks and the lines are crazy but like it’s the fair… it’s expected. If you do like it don’t go. Yall complain just to complain 🙄

The state fair isn’t worth it—overpriced, unsafe, and no fun. You’d have more fun with a bounce house from Amazon in your own backyard. Plus last time I went there was gun violence.

Live in NC, NEVER actually got into the fair after driving 2 hours because parking is ridiculously expensive AND calorie, fat AND carb laden "foods" they serve aren't worth the trip or cost.
