“Chinese Americans opinions don’t matter to me because their childhoods are different” yall do not understand that you can’t just dodge American culture IN AMERICA, sometimes we’re forced to ACT American, there are so many Asian American stories talking about how they couldn’t eat their cultural foods because it was “too weird” or “too stinky” Saying Asian Americans culture is diluted baffling BECAUSE WHO DO YOU THINK set that system up? I feel like if I were asking about what the members of any culture felt about a topic, I would want to pay particularly close attention to the diaspora of said culture where I live. They're likely the ones primary affected by whatever the topic is.

thank you for speaking up and your willingness to address and criticize rightfully so about who's "chinese". it's so insulting to see someone who thinks likes x culture thinks they're an expert because you like it. your special interest doesn't mean your feelings triumph over someone whose chinese-american. chinese-american are still chinese first :/ while white americans are WHITE first.
