Latin Quarter was so good! Hôtel Des Grands Hommes was perfection.

We'll be staying by the Luxembourg Garden in December. Is this a good area? It doesn't look too far a walk from some of the major attractions

Restaurants routinely open at 7pm. It’s not a “red flag”. It’s quite standard. Granted, it’s usually quiet until 8-8:30pm.I’ve lived in France 28 years

I have an itinerary with my must sees in bold and anything we can fit inbetween in the area in smaller font in case the vibe changes 😫 I will stress myself too much trying to see everything and there will be no relaxation! I’m trying to plan a huge Europe trip because my husband and I will likely only get to Europe one time so we want to do 2 weeks

Do you have any recommendations for Le Marais hotels? We will be there in November and having such a hard time choosing where to stay!

I really like staying in the ninth. Over by the Paris Opera House there’s a Marriott there that I really like to hang out. I just like that area it’s accessible to a lot of places and walkable.

Bastille was also great. Montmartre is not for the weak. Those hills are serious. It’s good to let people know they will be walking around 20 flights of stairs a day if they plan to stay there lol

I think people don’t understand how small and easy it is to travel throughout Paris so they think they HAVE to stay near the Eiffel Tower or they’ll miss it. It’s so easy to see it enough times throughout your stay.

Absolutely agree! We stayed in Le Marais and it was wonderfully central and easy to get around. We picked one attraction that was a non negotiable and wandered around after the rest of the day. It was an incredible trip and I cannot wait to go back 👏✨❤️

Can you just eat at the bar at a restaurant? Or is that not a thing there? Traveling solo….

Staying in Montmartre is a terrible idea. 9th and 10th are best.
