If you’re parking on the sidewalk or blocking part of it, duh you should get a ticket? Why do wheelchairs, parents with strollers, etc. have to risk going into the street??

Parking is SF is a joke. If I paid property taxes each year and i should be able to park in my own driveway as long as I’m not blocking the sidewalk and leaving enough room for pedestrians to walk.

I was unable to get out of bed to cut my grass due to an injury and Richmond fined me $1700 to cut my 100 soft of grass that they never came to cut. They then proceeded to shame me by posting the bill on line for 10 years.

Nah, the rule is there for curb appeal. A neighborhood filled with parked cars is usually one with high density housing.
