@sophiemorrisofficial: Kids Yogurts for school lunchbox!! This is something I’m always asked to find a clever swap for and instead of going to the supermarket I decided to show a brilliant swap you can make at home which works out cheaper than the supermarket kids yogurts, and is super quick too so takes very little effort really, especially if you make a large batch of the fruit layer for the whole week like I chat through in the video! The issue with flavoured yogurts, not just the kids ones, is they tend to be very high in sugar. And the flavoured yogurts that claim to have ‘no added sugar’ just have artificial sweeteners instead and there definitely isn’t enough research on the impact of artificial sweeteners in kids diets in particular. The ‘jam’ hack I do here is so so easy and can be used also on toast! Making chia jam is even better but I’ve heard of some kids not liking the texture (we’ve all been there!!🙈) whereas I find this is just like a runny jam (make sure to mix it lots to break down the skins!) and kids will love it when you add a little honey. Stir into some greek yogurt or natural live yogurt - greek yogurt is thicker than natural yogurt so a thicker consistency will be achieved with the greek yogurt - and put into one of these little pots and you have your homemade flavoured yogurt pot for the lunchbox! Frozen strawberries take a bit longer to break down than raspberries but my boys LOVE the strawberry in these yogurts so I tend to do this one more 🙌 If you’d like more of my very practical recipes, I have 50 of them in my new book Sophie’s Swaps which is out next Thursday 4th September. 😍 Acccess the link in bio to pre-order and it’ll be delivered to you on 4th AND you’ll be entered into the competition to win a supermarket shop with me. 🥳 #sophiesswaps #kidsyogurts #cleverswaps
