I have a Velcro child. I soaked it up because I feared one day he would be too cool for me and I would miss it. Now he’s 9 and he follows his step dad around the house and even sneaks in bed with him when I’m doing long weekend rotation 🫣 as soon as I get home he’s back attached to me

My Velcro child is now 24 yrs old and she’s still stuck to me like glue. I blame me because I breastfed her until she was a little over 2!!! She calls idk how many times a day for some of the craziest stuff and mind you she has two girls now, ages 4 and 2 and a half, the 2yr old is also a Velcro child, she can be dead asleep and she feels the bed shift and i get up its over the next thing i hear is grandma where are you??

Idk but I was a velcro child and I never stopped. Always had a hand on my mom. Eventually started wearing her clothes. She had to fly out the state/country to get a semblance of peace 😂

I was an only child with a inattentive mother. my kids are velcro kids and I pray for patience and constantly remind myself they have a active and involved mom.
