Does it feel like a rug burn. I had some nerve damage from Covid in my elbow that lasted like 6 weeks that felt like rug burn.

Ditch the tegaderm and aquaphor for now! Some parchment baking paper or Saran wrap with coconut oil or Vaseline, wrapped gently with gauze. Try to keep it slightly straightened. The tegaderm adhesive is likely not playing nice with the hyper sensitive, newly exposed nerves. Lanolin or other additives can also spike the pain, even if you’re regularly fine with it.

Unfortunately I think you’re gonna have to push through or go to ER(if you haven’t been seen already). If you’re experiencing nerve pain after road rash, you may have chipped a bone or pinched a nerve in your elbow

Maybe push-ups or something to force pressure and move the muscles around?

Sounds similar to nerve damage I had after a botched blood draw (right in the wrist nerve). Best bet would be to get checked out. Even then they might not be able to do much. Took like 6 months to "heal" and part of my hand is still numb to this day.

Do you have compartment syndrome? if it's from a trapped nerve try loosening your shoulders and chest muscles and the shrugged your shoulders sharp as straight up and down as you can. You can also look up arm nerve flossing.

Maybe a dumb question. Have you tried neosporin? It has a localized pain relief. It's not strong but it might help.

You know that minor irritation of a kitten's claws as it climbs up a leg of your pants? I get that inside my left leg with each heartbeat. Try the CIA method, it's helped me. Close eyes, picture the pain radiating and repeat 55515 a few times.

not having an arm works too. unless you have PHANTOM PAIN🐺. I would love to get rid of finger and toenails, spines, teeth, headaches, and humans. too many inconveniences with those things. also idk what sting you're describing, idk you've had cymbalta withdrawals, is it similar to the brain zaps or the paresthesias?
