This is a lie. PVT Duckworth is the beginning of cadence calling.

It’s literally US military history that blk soldiers created the cadence that we have now, not to mention every blk culture in history has a work cadence when doing group work and ect

For those that are confused. PVT Duckworth most likely got his cadences from the rails, who got it from the fields.

It's called Call and Response. It's African American culture that originated in Africa (Alkebulan). We are still connected to our African (Alkebulan) roots today in so many ways. PSA! Keep your fba opinions and misinformation to yourself. All I need is your name, DOB, and current city residence to locate your oldest known ancestor of African (Alkebulan) descent.

I believe this. The first Army cadence was the Duckworth call in 1944 by PVT Willie Lee Duckworth. Yall ever heard "Sound off, 1, 2. Sound off, 3, 4....." That's the one. They made different cadences ever since.

There is a place called Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst where they have a Monument dedicated to the Man who first called a military cadence and why, great story!
