anne reardon(?) has a video about this. It’s not “muscle memory” it’s just the pattern your shaking the water. Shake it side to side and it will make a different pattern

Those are waves of light converging (like two audio frequencies combining and changing) when changing between two mediums (water/honey) it’s the same reason those light patterns appear at the ocean in clear water

I don't think that's the honeycomb structure... I think it's the water pulling away and shaping the honey as they are moved against each other. Honey dissolves in water, and the pattern at the end looks like the surface of the ocean, the sand beneath the ocean, the cool light refraction pattern from beneath water looking towards light.
