for the people who are saying james killed her so she doesn’t suffer, you are completely wrong, he killed her because he was miserable with her after she got sick, and he wanted his life back, she neglected him and he had enough, so he murdered her out of “anger” which is completely wrong, he truly loved his wife and he still does, he knows he’s guilty for what he did, and he accepts it, yes i know this doesn’t clear his name for murder, but silent hill isn’t to prove if someone’s guilty, it’s to show someone’s acceptance of their fear or what eats them on the inside, showing the whole game was james trying to accept what he did and let go of any more guilt that he had in him, silent hill is built off of someone’s fear, and an extra thing is that he knows he deserves to be punished, pyramid represents him and the way he think he deserves to be punished for what he’s done, and after he defeats pyramid head is when he finally accept the truth and lets go of his guilt
