On the Pixel 10 Pro, once you push it to 100× you are not looking at a real photo anymore. Up to 5× it is true optical zoom. Between that and about 20× it is still working off the camera data but boosted with heavy processing. Past that, the phone’s AI takes over and starts guessing what should be there. It fills in missing bits, which can mean made-up patterns, warped shapes, or fake texture. So yeah, the shot at 100× might look cleaner than just cropping in, but it is not reality. It is an AI-touched version, good for show but not something you could call proof of what was actually there.

No es el mejor, xiaomi 15 ultra genera mejor la IA, donde mas se notan es en los carteles muy lejanos, google no es capaz de generar bien lo escrito en ellos, xiaomi si.

the 100x ai zoom is kinda disappointing because it 100% ai regenerate not like samsung, huawei or xiaomi that sharpens up their images using ai

This is not photo. This is what ai thinks it sees. Just generate. Use 40/60/80/100 zoom you’ll get 4 different photos. Use at structures atleast 100 miles apart 😏
