@rej2222: I’ll always crash out over my kid idc idc. I’ll delete it later, but it’s still better than calling the school 🤪 #storytime #schooldropoff #crashingout
I’m glad I wasn’t there for this because we’d have hyped each other up into chaos 😂😂

during the "welcome back event" for the 7th graders (our middle school is only 7/8, so NEW SCHOOL) The kids had to be dropped off and my son doesnt have a phone so we told him to meet us in the office. upon picking him up, we looked everywhere for him. we spent 15 minutes looking for him before we asked for help from school staff. the ladies in the office thought we were being dramatic asking for an all call for him to go to the office. so we talked to the principal where we spent another 20 minutes looking for him. im trying to to cry or panic, but all i can think is that someone KIDNAPPED HIM.😭 principal asked for an all call, so the ladies finally called out for him on the intercom. we found him ahout 5 minutes later. BUT THE FACT THAT THEY THOUGHT WE WERE BEING DRAMATIC! I was kidnapped by my father as a baby. and we dont have a good relationship with his father. so my fear is him trying to take him. and I dont think thats insane. your crashing is valid. some of these people working with our kids, dont care about the kids.

no mama call someone and complain. that's just a teacher who's on duty that morning, each teacher has there own way of doing things UNLESS it's something specific. growing up from k-12 my schools asked parents to keep the kids in the car until they reach the pavilion during rainy days, (winter or summer) so no kids are in class WET. because of that they would also have no tardies those days and delayed breakfast because it definitely takes longer to get through the lines. I get things have changed in the last 8 years but I went to public schools that had HUGE amount of students (I'm talking like 30 kids per class). if they can do it then they can do it now.
