Can we talk about the role of prescription drugs for different issues may cause to. Im 49 and my high school had trucks with guns in gun racks and no shootings. There to we didn't have doctors handing out anti depressants that have violence as side effects and hormonal therapies that go against nature eeither.

I remember thinking after Sandy Hook Elementary something must change, it has to, how could it not? Then I realized how much has actually changed. We have trained our children, we have retrained law enforcement, we have reformed large venue security… we continue to prioritize safety to accommodate the rights of perpetrators.

My internal struggle is laws are for the law abiding. The evil will still obtain their weapons of choice and the law abiding would be left even more defenseless. My heart breaks each time this happens.

I mean we have to have metal detectors and guards at football games. maybe employ vetted veterans as school guards. they get employed we have a stop gap. national level.

The guns aren’t the problem. A mentally ill person did this. Gun grabbers are always going to come out after something like this. But taking guns away from law abiding citizens doesn’t stop criminals. Sorry, don’t agree with you at all on this.

That’s why whenever they interview a parent whose child is missing and those parents can actually talk and always throws suspicion cause I wouldn’t be able to talk. I don’t know if I’d be able to breathe prayer for those parents at the church.

Cue the laughter :
I graduated in ‘99, the year Columbine happened. Prior to that, a school shooting had never crossed my mind. Now, my 16-yr old daughter has to go through active shooter drills at school.. It makes me sick. Our youth is our most valuable asset and more can be done to keep them safe. It’s our duty and obligation.

As complex an issue as this is and as many voices on all sides clamor to be the correct voice; remember one thing. We are not fighting flesh and blood, but principalities and powers of darkness. So pray for an awakening in America, and if those people that do this don't, live by the sword and die by the sword. Stay well, be vigilant, and be safe. Peace.

You’re so right!!! When my son became a teacher I never thought I would have to worry about his safety daily!!!! Growing up he wanted to be in the Army like his Paw-Paw & his Daddy & sometimes I wonder which career would he be safer in these days! 😢

My two year old daughter wandered away from me in a large mall while I was trying to get her infant twin brothers shoes. I was panicked. It was amazing how far a two year old could go in less than 3 minutes. We do need to be more strict gun laws.
