I owned a 2016 F350 that I paid $35k for. Note was $700 and insurance $300 a month. You’re right - a new motor every year is cheaper than that! I make good money and have never owned new.

A lot of people aren’t honest with how much their note and insurance is. For new trucks with insurance most people are paying $1200-1800/month. depending on lineup and brand.

im blue collar and can work up to 16 hours a day. my used truck sits in the same parking lot for 16 hours next to a $1200 a month brand new vehicle.
