What you need to know 👇🏼 Parys Mountain is an ancient copper mine located in North Wales! 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿 Its unique landscapes are so beautiful and the colours are gorgeous! It’s one of the most unique places we’ve ever visited in North Wales! 🧡 The details!👇🏼 🗺️ Parys Mountain is located on the Isle of Anglesey in North Wales 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿 It’s free entry and there is even free parking! 🥾 There is a fairly well maintained flat path that loops all the way around the top of the mine. Then there are lots of trials that weave around the sides and bottom of the mine. ⏰ We would recommend allowing 1-2 hours to visit. ☀️ Try and visit when it’s sunny as all the colours will sparkle and pop in the sun! 💨 It can be really windy around the area, so be prepared! 🤯There is apparently still 6 million tons of copper beneath the mine! ⚠️Parys Mountain is an old mine site, while it’s open to visitors with trials in place, it’s still a historic mining site with natural risks. Do take care and stick to marked paths.
