Eff Santander. My daughter’s car was totaled and Santander wouldn’t give us the documentation to file the gap claim. Been three months we finally got it taken care of ourselves

Listen, make sure you have gap insurance! I had my jeep for 6 months and someone tboned me and totaled my car. Had my full coverage AND gap coverage. Insurance paid off all the loan except $800ish because I was behind two payments. Waited a few months and they offered me a settlement of less than $200 and I paid it and account closed. Treat em right, they treat you right. They helped me when I had no options in sight.

Tbh, my rate was wack with Santander but I also paid it off in 9 months and they were the easiest to work with for the payoff tbh. Never bought another car through that dealership, would finance another car through Santander though, easy enough going company
