As an Aussie, we find this so baffling and tragic. Why??? We had our last mass shooting in 1996, Aussies said no more and our CONSERVATIVE Prime Minister banned guns within 2 weeks. It can be done.

When Sandy Hook happened… I was putting my then 5 year old kindergartener to bed and she said “I’m glad that guy didn’t come in my class room and kill me and my friends” it’s something I’ve never forgotten. It’s not fair to our babies! (I left the news on by accident while cooking dinner and she happen to see it 😢)

I think the sad thing for me as an Australian is that seeing your government do nothing after sandy hook kinda affirmed that they were never gonna change nor do they care about kids. I’m so sorry for everyone who’s lost someone to gun violence and school shootings
