Taco believes that Catholics do not worship the same God as protestants and because of this was not willing to pray along side us in the name of Jesus Christ. As Christians we should never let denominational differences come between us like this. I am very upset by his decision not to pray for literal children. Anyone who believes that a prayer in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit is not worthy of bowing their head is greatly misguided. This is NOT the time to be sowing more division. Pray and fast, love one another, be glad your family is still here and whole. No more division among Christians. Have your denomination, but at the end of the day we are ALL brothers and sisters of the same flock.. HIS flock, the King of Kings, Lord of Lords, Jesus Christ.

I witnessed the debate on YouTube and thought it was awkward when taco took a drink during prayer. Even worse he demonstrated a disregard for prayer to those who need it in time of grief. Catholics won this debate hands down. I especially thought the example of traditions Paul referenced in scripture was a good argument against Scripture alone.

As a Latter Day Saint, denominational differences cease to matter in circumstances like this. We all need to come together with our Catholic brothers and sisters, mourn with those who mourn, and pray for everyone impacted.
