i tell my son all the time that he doesn’t have to worry about it because we have plenty. but he asks often about money and is always anxious about seeming ungrateful for what he has and idek where or why that anxiety came from. but i feel this in my bones.

i learned this isn’t normal bc my bf came from a “brand name foods, no leftovers, no rice and beans, AC left on 70 degrees in the summer” household lmao. i was like, wdym your mom didn’t tell you constantly that each kid costs on average $100k for the first 18 years? 😭
