I have asked my primary care, doctor, my psychiatrist, and the doctor in charge of the brain injury clinic at the VA. None of them know about the research. I presented it to them months ago, but they will not do the block.

Ha also note that the stellate ganglion block procedure itself can be quite traumatic, so tossing it around cavierly as an option is irresponsible

There are some dances from North Africa and the Middle East where you toss your hair and head around and are considered healing or spiritual. I wonder now of they stimulate this nerve in some way!

I wonder if this would work for endometriosis? I’m struggling with long term pain relief and finding that when I get a break from the pain, tons of trauma starts to surface. Being in pain for almost 20 years has taken a toll on

I burnt something on the stove the other day and had a small fire. The alarm was SO ANNOYING so I took the batteries out of it. It fixed the problem. I’ll keep you posted down the line if anything else comes of it

I had chiari malformation which compressed all those nerves in the ganglion, I thought I was crazy but once they opened the hole at the base of my skull up and it decompressed I actually dealt with less mental issues than before 😭Makes sense!
