@littleglife: Turns out taking care of your house is really hard when you probably have undiagnosed ADHD, become a mom, and have never done this before 😅 Something I’m working on is being less mean to myself and making things easier for myself where I can. This was definitely a splurge, but I’m excited 1) for the accountability with keeping the house tidier so it’s easier for my cleaners 2) for the help 🩷 - #pregnanttoddlermom #stayathomemomcontent #sahmcontentcreator #intentionalmotherhood #honestmotherhood
First thing I’m adding into the budget when we have more money is a cleaner! I can do the day to day. But the deep clean? The cracks and crevices? I cannot!

I was diagnosed in 2022. Was on meds very briefly that year. Didn’t go back on meds until a couple months ago. It took three kids in 3.5 years and a pandemic for me not to be able to do it anymore.

we have a house cleaner that comes once a month and just not having to do the DEEP clean items has been SO revolutionary!

1. Our parents didn’t play with us and most the time left us to entertain ourselves giving them more time 2. Your home is there to serve you not the other way around so shoot for functionality not perfection 3. On ur death bed ur not going to wish you had cleaned more ur going to wish you had spent more time w your kids and doing things u love 4. Cleaning is morally neutral & ur ability to “keep things in order” doesn’t reflect ur worth as a person or mom 5. If your home is messy from making memories with your family that’s a good thing 6. Ur job is to raise the kids period it’s unreasonable to also be a maid, you’d have to hire 2 people for those things 7. Therapy is a great way to heal your relationship with cleaning & productivity. You’re doing great
