Yes! I stopped doing this, I cut everybody off that didn’t make me feel at peace. Having to come up with steps just to speak to someone or having anxiety trying to make boundaries with your family, let them go.

I think I struggle with safety. I want to talk about things that bother me but I have to truly feel like it’s a safe space. If it doesn’t “feel” safe, I’m avoidant on certain things.
