Nope, first date with my now-husband was only at a coffee shop but did last 4-5 hours because we talked so much— but only over chai tea and we never went to a second location. And only a hug at the end, no kiss.

This is why brunch dates are good. Say you can meet for brunch but need to be somewhere at 3. You want to give him a reason to ask you out again if he wants to get to know you better. And it shows him you have a life and don’t “need” him so he knows he has to step up so you actually “want” to spend time with him
