Doubtful that the baby will be adopted by the crew, but I'm predicting that this ends in some sort of blessing for them. Maybe a blessing for the dad for a sharp mind if this is just him frantically searching town for his missing baby

my mom did this once with me! 😅 it was raining really heavily and I was a few months old, already having been in and out of the hospital, and she really didn't want to risk walking in the rain with me, so she spotted this elderly couple and asked them to watch me for a moment so she can pull the car over When she got to the car, she nearly had a panic attack when she realized she left her infant with complete and total strangers 😂😂 they were really nice and thankfully did NOT kidnapped me, but she felt sooo guilty for months afterwards
