We have to stop believing the lies oppressors tell. They want Asian Americans to believe it's Black people who attack us. They want Black Americans to believe it's Asian Americans to destroyed Affirmative Action. And meanwhile, they are the only ones who benefit from the division.

While they are not involved in the lawsuit brought by Edward Blum? They contribute towards normalizing rhetoric and the idea of Asian people opposing affirmative action

the data now shows Asian students applying to prestigious institutions has increased minimally, remained flat or decreased. Blacks, Hispanics and Native Americans numbers were consistently less than Asian students. It is white students and legacy students who are the recipients of advantages

omg!! i believed that myth for so long! sure, i don’t view my solidarity as something conditional so i wasn’t feeling animosity towards asian americans. but i still felt so down about it (js commenting to show the perspective that the goal isn’t always to incite conflict but also to induce despair at perceived division). tysm for this video 💓💓
