@lbc: Ahead of an anti-immigration march, Australian politician Bob Katter raises his fist at a journalist after objecting to questions about his Lebanese heritage. #lbc #bobkatter #immigration #australia #news
Bob is absolutely right. Labeling someone based on their ancestry rather than their identity as an Australian is discriminatory. Bob was born and raised in Australia — he’s as Australian as anyone else. If his ancestors came from Lebanon, that’s no different from others whose ancestors came from Europe. Just like the United States, Australia is a multicultural society, a true melting pot. Focusing on where someone’s ancestors came from only serves to keep racial divisions alive, instead of moving toward unity and mutual respect

He's acting like Trump. He's probably following the US media too closely. Unfortunately, no one there is outraged by such behavior anymore.

to be fair I don't think he's necessarily ashamed of his heritage, I think he's irritated because he believes the journalist is suggesting he's not a bona fide Aussie - because of his Lebanese ancestry.

The better answer would have be yes or no rather coining a fist and wanted to punch a journalist in the mouth. Who's a "racist" here now? Its Bob Katter 😁! Based on his reaction to the question, he is a Lebanese 😂!
