So does the amount of reps before failure matter, or does it just matter that you’re failing? For example I can bench 350 but only for 3-4 reps before failure, or I can do 320 for 6-8 before faliure, is it both the same?

I don’t even count I just go to failure.. and if I start at a weight and I’m not failing it after about 12-15 reps then I know the weight is too light and I got heavier . When you start failing sets around 6-8 reps your at a good weight. Keep doing that for weeks until you notice it’s harder to fail that weight then go higher .
