I am sooo close on giving up on Instagram!! It was good at first and now I barely get any views anymore 😭 it’s so demotivating and kind of embarrassing as well.. not sure if I should just stop posting for a while again.. is there an algorithm change? Not even friends are liking reels anymore :/ it feels like my reels are not being “seen” - but I love posting fashion reels… feedback is appreciated 🫶🏼

I had 15.9 followers for like 3 years. Anytime I would break 16, I would lose ten followers. I post design content but reels feel out of my league, like they are too much work. Last week I posted a house tour of a little rental I saw in London, took me ten seconds to edit, voice over without overthinking, captions, whatever music they suggested. I got 100k views in a week 😳 and 16.5 followers now. I really can’t believe it

Thank you for sharing. As a therapist I find it tricky not to give in all the trendy content and stay connected to myself and have my voice without 'pleasing the algorithm'. This was a great reminder to have patience
