Question for you, Isaac are you just going to set the drain great flush with that tile even though the body of it is down deeper?

Where can we get those foam strips from I’m looking everywhere. I need to do this to my pan before I tile I messed up on my slope and it’s already installed no going back. I must’ve walked on it before it was fully set but glad I caught it before tiling

I know you probably know this, but they do make a rapid adhesive for 254 but it’s most likely not at floor and decor

This is hack shit. Next time so a burn coat of platinum, then slurry of platinum, then some type of “patch” product. This is not what thinset is designed for . This will shrink and crack maybe not fail but no good. Shouldn’t be a tutorial

Would it be better to pour a thin leveling compound first and then slope so you know you have a perfectly even slope throughout the pan? I know you would be making the pan even thicker which is also reducing inside curb height but leveling first seems to make sense to me?
