They lend it because student loans cannot be waived in bankruptcy. There’s no risk for the bank. So banks give more money, then college raises prices because banks are giving bigger loans then banks give more money cause tuition goes up and… here we are

The US government illegally reintroduced debtors prison by enacting a law that prevented the dismissal of student loans in bankruptcy court. When you have that law behind you, the math simply says "lend more". And the colleges went "woah, we can charge more cause lending got unlocked"! Huge scam. I demand accountability
