If you get euchered you’re down 9-7, you do have off suit aces to possibly deter a loan hand. It somewhat depends on the aggressiveness of the players you’re playing against. If the dealer has a right or left and the ace you’re most likely euchered

I disagree. If they go alone, you have a great stopping hand. Your partner leads a non-ace spade, you trump it. Otherwise you have the ace. If he plays the right to pull the left, your ace is protected.

your partner gets to lead... even better when they get to call whatever they want. you'd still have 1 or 2 aces to help them.

That's a solid hand but your getting euchred! #1 You're partner is gonna lead Trump, chances are it's NOT the right and your screwed. #2 If your partner passed he's sitting on another suit he can call. You potentially have 3 Aces in your hand if hearts gets played twice.
