✈️Flight student here: In some videos you can see the F-16 diving toward the ground with afterburner. The pilot rolls the jet inverted while the afterburner is still engaged, and then pulls the nose up. The problem: at that extreme angle of attack the airflow over the wings breaks off – a classic stall. Despite the afterburner, there wasn’t enough speed, and above all not enough altitude to recover. You can imagine hearing the cockpit warning: “Altitude, Altitude – Pull up, Pull up!” – even an experienced pilot would have had barely a second to react. I think it’s pilot error and altitude problems. Sadly, this led to the tragedy imo. Fighter pilots student are welcomed to correct me. My deepest condolences to the squadron and all the families. 💔🥀

Μπήκε σε λούπα με ανεπαρκές ύψος εισόδου. Η ταχύτητα υψηλή, μάλλον με μετακαυστήρα, αλλά στο πικ της ανόδου δεν υπήρχε αρκετή ενέργεια για να διατηρήσει θετικό περιθώριο άντωσης. Και στην καθοδική φάση τής λουπας το ύψος ασφαλείας ήταν για το ανάθεμα. Εκεί πρέπει μέγιστη έλξη στο χειριστήριο, σαν να θές να το σπάσεις high G pull out το λέμε. Ήδη λένε ότι έπαθε ο κακομοίρης G-LOC ή ίσως στένωση όρασης 😔 για αυτό δεν επιχείρησε εκτίναξη... αλλά καί νά το έκανε από τέτοιο ύψος... δύσκολα τα πράγματα
