Yeah my nans house is exactly like this, council house tho. Major annoyance with wardrobes yes. Also what if you tile or panel your bathroom what to do then.

you can't make those into 90 degree angles....it's because your roof line is low. lots of houses are like this. it's also extremely difficult to insulate that part of the roof without blocking airflow so it is often a cold spot and will get condensation mould.
