Its kind of sad when you realize Adventure time technically doesnt have a happy ending. yes they beat Golb but, Fern dies, Simon lost Betty and is depressed, Jake dies and Finn is depressed and no one helps him get through it, just waiting for the day he dies, Prismo is depressed, BMO forgets Finn, Ooo becomes a dystopia as one of Jake's grandchildren goes insane and becomes a dictator and we dont know what happens to Marceline and Bubblegum but since they are immortal they have to outlive all of their friends and loved ones
