Chit chatting about my new way of eating since quitting Wegovy. I’ve made several changes that I think are contributing to an easier transition of the medicine this time around. The first change was starting to eat the “Tiffany plate.” That has helped me introduce more fruits and veggies into my diet. The second change is having protein first thing in the morning and swapping my heavy cream from protein in my coffee. I’ve found that helps me get fuller faster. The third change is going gluten free. I’ve always had a sensitivity to gluten. When I was on Wegovy, I was able to eat it without issues but now that I don’t have that help, I am eliminating it. Other changes that I didn’t mention are avoiding alcohol. Not completely but drastically cutting back. And I’ve also been trying to hit 10K steps a day. When I do a 45 minute walk, that helps me reach that goal. Overall feeling great with these changes.
