I was just back at the family’s home here in Wilmington, North Carolina, where we concluded an exorcism ritual on their house. Last night, the mother told me that just before we arrived, she had suddenly gotten violently sick out of nowhere. There’s no way to know if it was connected to what we were coming there to do, but the timing was definitely something that made us think. I was originally called to this home because of paranormal activity the family had been experiencing. Things like recurring nightmares, sightings of a shadowy Hat Man and a dark cloaked figure, and an ominous feeling of constantly being watched. The daughter had become so uncomfortable that she hadn’t slept in her own bedroom in eight months. The first night I spoke with the mother, she also told me that the power inside the house allegedly went out twice, while the LED lights inside her daughter’s bedroom came on. During my first intuitive walkthrough of the home, I felt as though some type of dark ritual may have been performed there at some point and potentially invited something negative into the space. I also felt that the daughter had become the main focus of whatever was occurring. During our investigation, we received references to the Hat Man, along with other disturbing and derogatory responses and what I interpreted as threats directed toward me. At one point, I religiously provoked whatever may have been present. Almost immediately afterward, the light in the room where I was standing turned off and then back on. I later learned that, allegedly, someone who previously lived in the house had struggled with addiction, and I was told the home may have once been associated with drug activity. Whether any of that has a connection to the paranormal activity I cant be certain, but it added another piece to the history that may be connected. Now that the exorcism ritual has been completed, the hope is that whatever negative presence the family believes had been lurking within this home, influencing the atmosphere and especially targeting the daughter, has been removed and sent back to where it belongs. #paranormal #haunted #wilmingtonnc #northcarolina #evil
