Godzilla is my all time favorite thing ever. him losing here made perfect sense to me. After all, almost everytime godzilla has ever lost it’s been to science. Ishiro Honda always wanted to show scientists as heroes and this fits that in a way that feels like a tribute to him.

Why do people keep saying he needs Bruce banner like hulk and Bruce isn’t two sides of the same coin. You can’t remove Bruce without removing the hulk and same thing other way because they are the exact same being just a different mindscape.

Also personally to me I just felt this video was made for Hulk fans first and Godzilla fans second like Hulks analysis was alot more informative better made and better edited then Godzillas like only talking about Godzilla in hell for less then 6 seconds like what there was so much more to that story and it could talked about the deeper elements of Godzillas characters also the fact that they just decided not to mention Godzilla vs Marvel, and DC heck I even thought they would have mentioned Godzilla vs the power rangers but no nothing and I feel like the only reason they dident mention those was to not confuse casual death battle fans because if a causal death battle fan sees Godzilla bassicly one shot thor and they know thor and Hulk are pretty equal so that must mean Godzilla can beat Hulk same argument with superman like it was not hard at all to say oh Godzilla has beaten Thor and ext but he only beat there base versions so he scales to there baseline also I just felt like the lack of things godzilla did in the fight itself was disappointing like before he became Ultime godzilla was interchangeable with any other large kaiju

I like both characters and honestly though the Big G would take the win but considering both were equaled in strength and regeneration, having Bruce be the factor to take him down makes sense in character. Even if you remove the Ultima connection and have Earth, Minus One, Shin or any of the other versions it basically would have reached a stalemate if not for Bruce’s intelligence and knowledge of radiation
