my son just passed away 2/20/25. while the cops were doing their thing In his room I could literally feel my son sitting next to me. I felt him put his arm around me. he waited till they removed his body and then I didn't feel well should say hear him until 2 days later in his bedroom. I could hear all the normal sounds from his room like I heard when he was alive. and then maybe a week later I was in my room sobbing and I felt the coolness on my right side. omg how I wanted to hold him. but the sense of comfort for those few minutes calmed me. and now it's 5 months later and nothing. there's nothing. the silence is so heavy

im a nurse in a nursing home so I've seen many natural deaths and youre right about them hanging around the body for a few hours. I open a window for them. I also feel their loved ones in the room, sitting in a chair waiting for them to pass. I can almost see them there. 💖

I also read that when cats die leave them alone for a few hours as their soul leaves the body and touching them is not advised so my cat died this morning and I’ve left her alone for almost a whole day and night I don’t want to confuse her as she passes
