I dont really get the need to be "consistent" on issues like this. Of course I don't want Russia to gain power, they're an enemy of the West. However, that doesnt mean I'm against "countries having power" in general. I'm pro the West being maximally powerful, and Russia, China and Iran being maximally weak.
