Coming from the DMV.. I’ve been here for 5 years now. Dallas has a HUGE fitness culture. Everyone runs the trails and joins fit clubs and run clubs. Lol We do pool parties and restaurants. Absolutely bland nightlife.. but nothing is downtown but restaurants and apartments.

Most people in “Dallas” are in the suburbs 30+ minutes out. You have to go to specific areas like Deep Ellum, Knox Henderson, Lower Greenville or Bishop Arts to see any action.

Everybody’s in that car bc it’s so spread out. What’s sad is that ppl that are from there have no idea what’s missing. The Social interactions that we have in NY, Boston, DC, Philly is a real thing.

Moved from Brooklyn to Houston and folks there were confused that I felt it was a slowdown. In the dmv now and I feel so much more balanced!
