I have constant post nasal drip. Pain in ears. Easily sore throat and ears. Migraines. Hypermobility. Slow scarring. The small fat bumps on my heals. I so have EDS

Anyone else grow up thinking their sinus issues were just ‘bad allergies’… only to realize later it was EDS all along? I’d love to hear your stories!

wait wait WAAAIT- does this mean the constantly changing stuffiness that usually clears when I stand, and how I'm stuffy on the side that I lay on when sleeping... that's all EDS shit too?! 😭

Wait… sinus structure can actually collapse from EDS?! 😭 That explains so much. I’ve had constant pressure and post nasal drip for years and no allergy med ever helped. 😳

I apparently blew my eardrum (80% perforation) from a sinus infection, but I never felt it. Since then I take Flonase every single day.

So whats the best way to treat it? I’ve been taking Pepcid and zyrtec everyday and it helps. I worry about taking anything that often, but I haven’t had an infection in the last year.

This brought tears to my eyes. I’ve had horrible sinus problems my whole life, I had a routine sinus surgery to “fix” my issues in 2013 that caused chronic, debilitating face pain. I’ve recently started to suspect I have EDS and realized it might all be connected…

it's called non allergic rhinitis. and that picture mentioning "after surgery" is misleading. after surgery, tissue tends to grow back. surgery only resolves the issues temporarily. using a mometasone nasal spray may be a better option. or even a saline spray. best to ask your GP
