This app has been my saving grace for meals! I have one huge folder of recipes to try and a small one with the meal plan for the week. I just move them from the big folder to the little folder when it’s their turn. If I like them, I write down my version of it (often I tweak for my family’s preferences) in a recipe book I bought many moons ago. So if I want a new recipe I go to my big TikTok folder; if I forget what I bought for that week, I go to the little TikTok folder; and if I want to plan groceries for an old favorite, I go to the book. I’m not Type A, you’re Type A. 😂

write down a list of every single dinner you ever make ever and stick it on the front of your fridge. I just pick seven meals and buy groceries for those seven and that's the week's meal plan, I just have to pick something I'm in the mood for from those 7 meals. work about 80% of the time.

I only meal planned when we were so broke we needed meals to stretch several days. We came up with a bunch of meals we were done eating, put them on the fridge, bought the ingredients for each and marked them off as we wanted them. Not fully planned out, but planned enough

Something that helps me and my neurodivergent family is having a list of all of our safe foods and safe dinners for us to cook, and if we ever are stumped on what to cook because nothing sounds good, we just go through the list until we find something that sounds good, and we do this with our weekly meal planning so we know what foods to expect and don’t often have any unexpected foods that would kill our appetite

This is my go to meal whenever I can't think of anything....I'm sorry it's another pasta thing. 😔 1lb of whatever ground meat you like/have on hand, 8oz package of cream cheese,a can of whole kernel corn, season with whatever chili seasonings you like add whatever noodles your heart desires. (cilantro optional).

I’m a casserole girlie. Tater tot hot dish, franks family style, thanksgiving bake, scalloped potatoes and ham, chicken cobbler, etc… plus it’s easy to serve components separately for eaters that don’t want their whole meal smothered in cream-of-something and baked together

I have to plan my dinners based on the weather. 😂 if its cold it'll be something comforting and warm, if its hot some like grilled or sauted with fresh salad and veggies. I only plan a week in advance and even though I have the plan I tend to still change it last second. but I at least have the stuff on hand.
