No fr. My son started kindergarten this year and the first thing i said to my husband is i did NOT like how the school was set up for this reason. The lunch room is open and right at the glass front doors. I don’t like that at all. Anyone can see through that glass and anyone could break those glass doors with little to no effort to get to our babies and no way to lock down the lunch room. Which is so strange to me. Every school i went to the lunch room was in like a gym area that had doors and could be closed and locked if need be

I always get told I can’t always protect my kids. But when it comes to school I can. I’m blessed enough to be able to homeschool my babies when it comes to that time. I can’t bare the thought of sending them to school and get that phone call

100%. I am terrified to bring a child into a world where I have to go to work rather than stay home with them where I know they will be safe. From birth to the day they move out. I don't even trust daycares at this point. And I worked in one. And not all daycares are bad but you never know the intentions of the teachers and staff. And in my state, they cannot legally have cameras in the classrooms for privacy purposes, that way other parents cannot view other children whom are not their own. But honestly I would much rather have other parent be able to see my child than nobody be able to see them. But regardless, the true intentions of a person are never known until something happens and then some places defend the abusive teachers and staff and or shooters. And I cannot imagine sending my child to daycare or school and getting a call that my child is severely injured at the hands of their teacher or daycare staff or a school shooter. Let alone having to live with the pain if they die. This world is so lost and evil. Praying for the school, the staff, every single child including those who did not endure physical injuries, as well as the families of the children and staff. And the town because this is an evil act and there will be hurt for years to come from this. So I ask that God comforts them.
