I’m a ex flight attendant. My husband is a pilot for a major US carrier and this sounds exactly like our life. We do not give each other gifts. We give each other trips recollect magnets everywhere we go and an ornament and we take our kids to as many places as we can, and we don’t stay in the touristy areas we stay in a nicer hotel and eat local everywhere. This is the way to go with travel, especially with our kids because it’s building well rounded future adult adults.
