go look up how Koreans style their bangs. it taught me a method with curtain bangs for volume. also, grab a wide tooth comb for those curls to brush them out.

I can’t use a brush or else my curls will fall out too. I just turn my head upside down and shake my curls and that usually helps them stay longer plus gives me a little volume.
