I subbed for a year before teaching and I always did secret student, write a secret student on a post-it and if that kid is good they (or the class) gets a little treat (I usually went with 10 minute freeze dance party)

I have noticed with prizes in my experience it backfires sometimes because the ones that dont get anything they end up upset and cry

The first 5th grade class I subbed for was wild! When I remembered I had stickers the whole day changed😍😍 I had a SILENT class (when it needed to be) bc everyone wanted a scratch and sniff sticker!!!
